When we smile

What is a day without a sip?
Black coffee steamed the old way
White cream surrounding my lips
Innocence in every bit of it
Exploding savor behind closed eyes
Can I drink away world’s dreadfulness?
Enjoy the bitter taste of it?
How could I
with dreams
hammering
truth into me
Every night I see
truth that truly does not exist
Will we get away with it?
Or will we burn our tongues and lips
Cover our faces with blisters
All over and over and exit without doors
Pretending they do exist
Beauty lies within
Pull out all teeth till we lose the feel of it
Who needs teeth to sip black coffee?
Only when we smile
we sense something’s missing
