Between your stars and mine

As if you long to become
Part of my wound
I wonder why, I am neither great
Nor easy to deal with

I weave
My lifelong narrative
You long to walk inside
Touching deeper layers
Finding damages
Searching out wounds
That I try to hide

You long to get infected
To feel, to die, to heal
How long will it last
Your desire to steal
My heart and my mind

Mixing up territories
Breathing under water
Running into voids
Between your stars and mine

What you long to find
Might better be
Left unstirred, left behind
Before we ever touch it
Before we unwind
