Death to the daydream

You want me to be the saint in your cave
Weeping over memories
Meditating over pain in your garden
Sleeping in your dreamy tower
Praying to fragility and love

Fuck that, I prefer to dress up and scream!
Into the noise of a metro station
A night club, a bar, dancing out loud
I belong to the lightbulbs, traffic
Messy human friction

Let me throw a punch at your face
Let me kick the clock right out of your tower
I do not belong there

Death to hazy poems
Death to the daydream
I belong to the pulsating bloodlines of life
